Acts 1-2

You can read Acts 1-2 here.

Reflect on the passage: How do you respond to the idea that Jesus is “a person who can be known and loved, obeyed and followed, a person who continues to act within the real world”?

What has driven (or still drives) you to a time of intense prayer?

What has the Spirit done in your midst recently that has grabbed the attention of others?

Prayer: Holy God, thank you for the gift of your Holy Spirit sent by your son Jesus Christ. Thank you for the promise of a new creation, now and in the future. Give us a desire to seek you in prayer, and rescue us from things that are holding us captive: the need for control, relationships that are unhealthy or seemingly beyond repair, impossible situations. Let us experience your Spirit in our lives everyday, that we might praise you in every circumstance. Amen.
